Oauth verification developer action

Hi All,

I have submitted an app for Verification on google cloud platform.

which has been published successfully on google chrome store.

Google provided feedback regarding verification process:

Below mentioned outstanding item:

The app project client_id in the URL bar of the OAuth Consent Screen/Permissions Page

is not shown.

Issue:

The issue is URL bar is not visible on consent screen i.e Identity API Scope Approval UI.

I had removed all the permissions (from Google account which I used to sign in chrome) and even deleted the cookies still the URL bar was not visible on consent screen i.e Identity API Scope Approval UI.

I am using Version 89.0.4389.90 (Official Build) (64-bit) chrome browser.

Could anyone please guide root cause behind url not coming on Oauth screen.

Hi, I have experienced this on a Mac. The identity UI which comes up rather than the standard url window. I have inspected the html and shown the client id in the html code. This has satisfied the verification process. Good luck!

I just explained that this is an extension and the URL will not be visible on the login screen - it helped. But my application was already published and all other materials were also ready.

I submitted again the app for verification with demo video in which I showed Client ID by inspecting into OAuth Consent Screen. The client ID was visible.

However, Google didn't accept it and again requested to show Client ID in URL bar in OAuth Consent Screen, which seems to be impossible.

I have one more query, is there any way we can teak the OAuth Screen so that we can get URL bar or it is completely controlled by Google, we cannot alter it all.

Can anyone please suggest how can I proceed further.

I have run into the same issue as @mivoice where the URL bar does not appear at the top of the Google OAuth Consent Screen when my Chrome Extension is downloaded (even when I fully enlarge the window).

Has anyone found a way to get the URL bar to show?
