Extension Approval taking too long lately

Earlier we used to get approval to publish new version in 1-3 days, from last month or so, every submission is taking like 6-7 days. Is there something we are missing? Is this gonna be new normal? Can AI tools not be leveraged to speed up the review process?

We’re experiencing the same issue. Earlier, reviews used to take 1–2 days for us. If anyone from the Chrome team is reading this, could you let us know what has changed in the review process and whether there’s anything we can do to speed it up?

Same here, more than a week. I was able to push two new Firefox updates and still waiting for Google to approve the first update.

I have to wonder, what will that do to a review processes.

And it's only going to get much worse with AI agents being more autonomous, and with more people using them.

We are on a verge of some big shift, I'm sure.
