For some reason this project is in my Google Cloud Platform.  I have no control over it and you are listed as an Editor/Admin.  Can you delete the project id: tribal-archery-271617 ?

Hi,

For some reasons unknown, this group "chromi...@chromium.org" has been added as an Editor of the GCP project tribal-archery-271617.

The owner (BEYW...@gmail.com) must have made a (huge) mistake.

Can anyone at google fix this please.

I took a look and I don't appear to have access to that project. I don't know if that means that someone has fixed this already, or if things aren't actually propagating the way I'd expect (such that all members of chromium-dev@ would have access).

So, there doesn't seem to be anything I can do directly; you may need beyw...@gmail.com to fix it.

Unfortunately, I do not know why it's showing up for you either.

Is there some way you can submit feedback via the Cloud Console?

I am able to see the project at https://console.cloud.google.com/home/dashboard?project=tribal-archery-271617&authuser=1&orgonly=true&supportedpurview=organizationId when logged in with my chromium.org account. I am not familiar enough with GCP to take any further action with it. Perhaps reporting it at https://support.google.com/code/contact/cloud_platform_report?hl=en would help? Or maybe someone can report this internally?

If you go to the IAM admin, you can see chromium-dev is listed as editor, and that's why it's showing up.
I can see BEYW...@gmail.com is the owner and sch...@chromium.org is the editor. And a bunch of other gmail accounts.
I think we should remove chromium-dev@ from the editor role.

Ah, I think I must've looked using the wrong account.

Unfortunately, I think only the owner can actually remove chromium-dev@ as an editor. I've reported this via the cloud_platform_report link, and I will file an internal bug with Google -- because this seems like a vector for spam -- but I'm not sure if, how, or when it'll be resolved ...

I also see that project in my projects list signed in with my regular Google Account.

@Dirk: in case you want to add this to the internal bug you filled, this is not an isolated case: project temporal-tensor-212913 has added the acces...@googlegroups.com group (the Google Accessibility forum) as an editor too.

Cheers :-)

it most certainly is/was being using as a vector for spam or other nefarious purposes.  the owner is constantly enabling APIs/service accounts.  For some reason I'm able to disable APIs and every time I disable them, the actor enables a new API and uses it for whatever purpose.  This time it was Speech API which is marked as Private.  Somehow I retain the ability to disable APIs and delete credentials but nothing else.

I have also tried to contact Google in regards to this via contacting billing but the billing account attached to it is disabled so they could do nothing.  They contacted the Owner of the account and received no response of course.

I don't think anyone on this list can help you; it'd be the same if it was random-ma...@example.test. You need to inform someone who works on Google Cloud.
