When I build and run Chromium with propriotery codecs in Ubuntu, there is no sound when playing mp3 or mp4. Tried both lastest version in both m72 and m73 and result was the same. I got the following errors in console:

shm_open() failed: Function not implemented
ALSA lib pcm_direct.c:1654:(snd1_pcm_direct_parse_open_conf) The field ipc_gid must be a valid group (create group audio)
[12086:12086:0322/092642.252161:ERROR:alsa_util.cc(204)] PcmOpen: default,Invalid argument
ALSA lib pcm_direct.c:1654:(snd1_pcm_direct_parse_open_conf) The field ipc_gid must be a valid group (create group audio)
[12086:12086:0322/092642.253898:ERROR:alsa_util.cc(204)] PcmOpen: plug:default,Invalid argument

I have the following line in /etc/group:

audio:x:29:pulse

I found the issue only exists on ubuntu 14, not on ubuntu 16. There was no such problem for m70. Something broke the compability with the ALSA lib on ubuntu 14 in m72.
