Change package name

Hi,

I'm using a nexus 5x that has a chrome browser build in (and can't be removed) , thereof when i try to install an APK with the android version i get an error that there is already a package with this name.

So i'm wondering what will be the best way to change the android's project package name?

The GN target chrome_public_apk uses the package name org.chromium.chrome, which usually does not conflict with with a pre-installed version.

Nevertheless, that package name string is defined in //chrome/android/BUILD.gn.
