Request for Chromium Slack Access for GSoC Contribution Discussions

Hello Administrators,

I hope this email finds you well. My name is Yuvraj, and I am writing to request an invitation to the Chromium Slack workspace.

I am a computer science student at Silicon University,Odisha,India with experience in multiple languages and tools which includes JS,TS,Rust,Java and tools like Docker and SQL respectively. I am very interested in contributing to the Chromium open source project, particularly through the Google Summer of Code (GSoC) program.

I would greatly appreciate access to the Slack workspace.

Hi Yuvraj,

Unfortunately, we can only invite you to the Slack instance after you've landed at least one change in Chromium and added yourself to the AUTHORS file (and yes, we do realize this can feel backwards :). Once you've done that, we'll be happy to send an invite along.

Apparently you need to be in the AUTHORS file. You update your name into the authors file along with your first contribution.
