Dear community,
In Chrome Dev 131.0.6768.4, the Optimization Guide On Device Model has been updated from 2024.7.24.2218 to 2024.9.25.2033. However, since this update, I've been facing a problem where the model doesn't respond in languages other than English, resulting in a kErrorUnsupportedLanguage error.
Specifically, I'm trying to get responses in Russian, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese, but without success. Is there any way to enable support for these languages or to make the model respond in non-English languages?
Any insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi 平塚貞夫,
As you have noticed, the model version was bumped recently. With English, we're comfortable with the security and quality of the answers the model can deliver, which is something we're still working on for non-English languages. We hope to lift this restriction soon. Sorry for any inconvenience meanwhile.
