Hi,

We pushed an update to our extension Battletabs (mjcklhnhfiepmofggcoegkmkokbljmjd) 13 days ago but later discovered an issue in the build.

We then mistakingly unpublished it thinking that would cancel the bad update from going out, unfortunately they seems to have pushed us right to the bottom of some queue and now we are stuck waiting and waiting to get an update to our 20,000+ users .

Is there anything we can do about this? :(

On the documentation page (https://developer.chrome.com/webstore/faq) they did mention that
If your item's status says "pending review" for more than three weeks, you should contact support.

It might be worth a try, although it's not really helping for me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Thanks Alex for the link. It's been over 3 weeks so we've submitted a support request from that link - let's hope we hear back soon!

There's currently no way to restore an extension after it's been unpublished and, due to the overwhelming number of requests, we don't expedite reviews save for the most severe cases.

Mike, since it's been over 3 weeks since I'm opening a ticket with review to ask the review team to investigate. No teed to contact support in this case.

Cheers,

Hi Simeon could you help open a ticket with review for my extension (oncijbkbmebnjlnghhpjcoeeagokpaal) as well? It's been stuck in pending review for about a month now. Contacting support has turned out to be of no avail. Thanks!

Ricky,

Unfortunately it has not been 3 weeks, but we are close. If you do not get reviewed in the next few days, please reach out to CWS support to notify them of the issue.

Hi Simeon,
Friendly rerequest for oncijbkbmebnjlnghhpjcoeeagokpaal, it's been a month and super frustrating for both the developer and 70,000+ weekly users. Thanks!

Hi Simeon,

My chrome extension: mgopdajgdlnjdhfiielgclcfkghjjnma
It has reviewed over 1 month
, is this normal? Could you help to check why the review is so long?

Our extension with the ID: fcjmopeebnejobiceiibbappilelkagi
Is also still pending. We just changed some of the description because we got „spam or keyword placing“ rejects, which we now know, also is a bug which rejects all extensions with icon dimensions different than 128x128px in your new dashboard....

So right now we stuck in „review pending...“ state since over 3 days! For just some description changes!
Please review it already, fix those false icon site rejections which causes the wrong spam keyword rejections and start supporting your extension developers!

Google support seams dead from our side. This is not acceptable...

It looks like nobody cares about our extensions. We have added all the changes that Simeon advised, so why the extension is still in pending?
Our extension ID: faieahckjkcpljkaedbjidlhhcigddal

The point is, google migrated to the new dashboard, which kicked a lot of developers out of the store.
There are plenty of bugs in the new dashboard, which reject all our extensions in several ways.
There is 0 support from google or just some templated copy paste texts with zero informations and zero human interaction on googles side.
So why the hell is google changing the backend, which breaks a lot of stuff for all of us and google does not care?

If something breaks, it should get fixed and developers with issues caused of those migration bugs need to get supported so their extension get available again.

Even Simeon is gone since 19.03. and was not active anymore.
Day for day even more developers write here, probably a lot do not know this google group to chat. So the damage is big for all of us. Google does not care a bit.

There is absolute no support behavior from google for us, which is catastrophical if you all note, google broke all our extensions out of the their store due bugs or wrong configured rules on their side.

The review speed is horrible. The review reject responses are horrible!
The support if you try to contact a real human from google, is horrible.

I don‘t know how long we all habe to wait to get our extension into the store again. But its great it got rejected or pending review so fast.

So all we can do is waiting for nothing.
Our customers complaining, because we can‘t provide all features thanks to google. So how long should this go like this?

All the complains from all the developers here get more day by day.
