This is still the case. The interesting thing to note is that the "Project ID" for this project is null.

I should also note that I also have a project named "API Project", although this has a "Project ID" assigned to it.

Since I personally have no idea how this happened, and cannot reproduce it, I didn't feel it to be a classified as there is no known vector.

All I want is to remove this project from my list, since I can't do anything, and have previously contacted the owner with no success.

I have attached a screenshot where I'm not even listed as having access to this project. If the attachment is filtered, the screenshot is here: http://bit.ly/1lucW97

Subject: Google API Projects - Oddness
To: jill...@gmail.com

For some reason, the project named "API Project" and with the Project Number "267874307843" is showing up in my Dev Console.

It lists you as owner, and chromi...@chromium.org can view.

Any ideas?

Me too! I don't even remember I enlisted in that project and I also could not deleted. Is this a bug from Google Developers Console? :)

Same here! I'm not sure what caused it, but it just sits in the Developers Console accumulating errors (see screenshots).

I think (just a wild speculation) that it is an expected behavior that you get by virtue of having joined chromium-dev. that should be the mechanism that allows you to enable chrome-specific api dev keys.

I'm having the same issue here. The mysterious project you described just appeared in my developer console today. (It doesn't have a project id either. It has the same "project number" 267874307843 and managers. I can't delete the project either. )

I checked the old api console. It doesn't list any managers or owners:

The team page is unavailable:

The API access page:

There is no active services listed:

As you may have noticed, this project now violates the TOS, which really makes me sad.

more detail:

I didn't create, join or use this project in any way.
Dear tech support, I'd just like to have this project removed from my console and TOS violation record cleared.

ps:
There is another "API project" without project id in my console, which I didn't create. But I am the owner and I can delete it without trouble.  As far as I can remember, when I checked the console yesterday, there was only one project, which is indeed my project and not named "API project".

This StackOverflow question describes the same problem: https://webapps.stackexchange.com/questions/61112/google-developer-console-project
