I am also facing this problem. Very recently, this website added an audio
playback on the login page. I can see a quick flash of the expected page
for an instant, and then the screen is replaced to play an audio stream.
This is also happening on 17.0.942.0 dev-m.
The same page seems to be working just fine with IE. From the IE dev-tools,
I could see that the page is trying to open a multimedia background window
via a javascript in the <head>. For all its worth - the issue could be that
chrome is not handling the opening of multimedia on page load correctly.

When u enter name and email and it plays some ringing sound, it turns blue

from what I can tell, the issue happens when an mp3 is played, i could be
wrong though..
btw how do I disable native mp3 playback? That would prove if mp3 playback
is causing the problem.

If its your personal computer, just hit the user ID and then password and
press ENter.
In case of grid, first hit tab and then number and tab and tab again... To
know the grid name, Ctrl+A to the page and paste it in a notepad.
or
Upgrade to 17.0.963.44 dev-m or higher builds... or install Canary build...
or just wait for new release of 18 or use Firefox et al

If you use the AdBlock extension, add "infinity.icicibank.co.in##video" as
a filter on the blocked list. Why ICICI is using the <video> tag for mp3 is
beyond me!
