Summary

An origin trial for lowLatency Canvas Contexts started in Chrome 70 and is scheduled to end in Chrome 72.

By the time we enabled the experiment M70 had sailed and, although we merged back the experimentation-related code, didn't merge back the code, so actually there was no experimentation on M70 :-P  Moreover, before shipping this feature we should have buy-in by other Spec stakeholders and currently it doesn't seem to be the case so far.

Experimental timeline

We want to extend the experiment and Origin Trials to also run during Chrome 73, scheduled to be branched on Jan 24 and released on Mar 12 (Mar 19th for ChromeOS) (all 2019).
