Spec

http://dev.w3.org/csswg/css-ui/#cursor

Summary

Support "cursor: zoom-in" and "cursor: zoom-out".

Motivation

-webkit-zoom-in and -webkit-zoom-out are already supported, and are used internally in the image viewer.

Opera (Presto) implemented zoom-in/zoom-out without a prefix. At the time it was a bit of a special case, document at http://wiki.csswg.org/spec/vendor-prefixes#specific-cases

Firefox supports these with and without the -moz prefix.

Compatibility Risk

The prefixed values are kept, so no discernible risk.

Ongoing technical constraints

None. I asked for a quick check of https://codereview.chromium.org/288303007/ and it seems OK.

Will this feature be supported on all five Blink platforms (Windows, Mac, Linux, Chrome OS and Android)?

Yes, although mouse support on Android is not the norm.

OWP launch tracking bug?

https://code.google.com/p/chromium/issues/detail?id=246998 is the feature request, but there is no launch tracking bug.

Link to entry on the feature dashboard

None, too trivial.

Requesting approval to ship?

Yes.
