NC State Math Contest Results!!!

Smith Staff and Smith MathCounts Club,

On Thursday, May 4, 2017 the finals of the NC State Math Contest were held.  Smith sent 16 students...the top performers were...

In Level 1 (for Math 1 students), Benjamin Li was the individual State Champion and Michael Dai was Runner-Up.  Sophia Benjamin and Luke Chen also made top 10 at their site.

In Level 2 (for Math 2 students), Leo DeJong got 3rd place and Richard Yuan got 9th place.  Caroline Cunningham also made top 10 at her site.

In Level 3 (for Math 3 students), Jonathan Xu was the individual State Champion and Andrew Zhen was Runner-Up.

These are tremendous accomplishments - these students are the best in the state!  Congratulations!
