Update...
16 Smith students had previously qualified for the finals of the NC State Math Contest.

On Wednesday, April 6th, Matias Shundi went solo over to Winston Salem State and qualified by taking 1st place in their Math 3 contest.

On Thursday, April 7th, Smith sent a team of five students to Lenoir Rhyne in Hickory for their Math 2 contest.  The Smith team came in 1st place and all five qualified by finishing in the Top 10.  The team was lead by Shilvaan Patel (2nd place) and Tony Feng (3rd place).  Also qualifying were Joshua Facello, Cobi Promislow, and Zachary Zheng.

Congratulations to these students on the work they put in to get to this level!
