Smith MathCounts Dominates at Chapter Competition!

Smith Community,

On Friday Feb 19, the Smith MathCounts Team bused over to Durham for the 2016 MathCounts Chapter Competition.  

The Smith Team won easily with the 10 Smith individuals coming in 2nd thru 11th place out of 130 students.  The only student who beat anybody at Smith was Andy Wu from Phillips.  Phillips brought home 2nd place and McDougle was 4th.

We are expecting all 10 Smith students to have qualified for the State MathCounts Finals which come in two weeks.

Congratulations to these students and wish them luck at the State Finals which will be held at Carrboro HS..
