In support of Ephesus

Dear CHCCS board members and administrators,

I am a parent of a current kindergarten student at Ephesus. I'd like to express how much this school means to our daughter and to our family. 

We moved to Chapel Hill a year ago for one reason: Ephesus completely won us over during the school tour, and we wanted our daughter to attend this particular school. We could not have made a better choice. Our daughter is thriving at Ephesus, and nothing speaks more clearly to her happiness than the fact that her favorite game at home is playing school!

Many families we know are excited for their children to start at Ephesus in the coming years. As a parent, it is hard to see closing a school that means so much to so many families as the right long-term decision. Ephesus is a thriving community, and with enrollment expected to grow, I believe preserving it would better serve both current and future students.
