Hello!

I'm trying to get my facts right regarding the comments that Vickie Feaster Fornville defended during the June 4 board meeting.

According to this document: /https://chccs.granicus.com/MetaViewer.php?view_id=2&clip_id=631&meta_id=43677 - The History of CHCCS in 2024 it states the following:

1953 - Glenwood Elementary Opened to serve white students

1954 - Brown v. Board of Education decision by the Supreme Court

1958 - Estes Opened as an all white school

This timeline seems to contradict the facts that Ms. Feaster Fornville used.

As an Asian American Muslim Father who has seen his child discriminated against, you're supposed to be better in the position you are serving.

I will also reiterate the fact that this school board didn't make a hard decision. it wasted money for a report to be completed so that you could cover yourselves. The hard decision would have been to close two schools because this is going to be the same story a year from now.
