Dear Survey Committee members,
Thanks for your positive feedback regarding the Survey`s initial count summary.
We are attaching you two important outputs of the CGIAR Stakeholder`s Survey:
1) The full list of stakeholders as provided by CRPs, after compilation and cleaning by Globescan and the CO. It has at least one contact information for each organization. After thorough cleaning, the database includes almost 3.900 contacts-stakeholders. We included the contacts coming from GCARD II registration/participation. As we had 1.081 survey filled (please see our previous email with details) the rate of response was 28%.
It`s worth mentioning that, as far as we have information, this is the first time we gather this type of database for the whole CGIAR system and it will be used by the Consortium Office as the starting point for a complete database of CGIAR stakeholders.
Please note that the 2006 Survey`s database (with more than 4.000 organizations listed), did not include a contact person for each organization. In that opportunity, Globescan randomly selected a representative sample of 60 partners per Center for which complete details were then requested to the corresponding Center. Considering, in addition, other 10-20 Center`s "strategic partners", the list with concrete contacts had 1.296 entries. With a rate of response of about 27%, we had 348 surveys filled in that opportunity.
2) The report on the internal interviews developed by Globescan at the beginning of the Survey process. There you will find some key findings in several important issues for the Consortium.
Please let us know if you have any comments or observations to the information contained in these files. We are planning to send the full Stakeholders list to the CRPs shortly.
As previously mentioned, we are planning to receive the first draft report from Globescan next week. Then we will have some days to make comments after which Globescan will send us its final report and make a presentation. The CO will prepare a report with the insights of the Survey process, including the analysis of the results for the CGIAR as a whole.
We look forward to having your inputs and participation in this crucial step of the Survey process in order to make the most of it for the Consortium and its partners.
Best regards,
Daniela
