Survey Communication Plan

Dear Survey Committee,

 

As a result of the meeting held  with Globescan and the leadership team of the Consortium Office (CO) today, we have agreed the following steps and timeline for releasing the Survey results as part of a communication plan:

 

 

April 12:  

 

-          GlobeScan and CO to finalize Highlights Report.

-          GlobeScan to end Final Internal Report with all the  inputs received from the Survey Committee and CO.

 

April 15:

 

-          Final Internal Report and Highlights Report to be delivered to DGs and CRP Science Leaders via a letter from CGIAR Consortium CEO  describing the overview of the communication plan and emphasizing that the Final Public report will be released without the CRP score cards by May 15^th .

 

April 22:

 

-          Highlights Report delivered by GlobeScan to interested respondents on April 22.

 

April 29:

 

-          Highlights Report posted to CGIAR website accompanied by a blog authored by a survey committee member. Who volunteers to do that?

 

May 15:

 

-          Final Public Report to send to the whole list of CGIAR partners and to publish on the CGIAR website along with a blog by the CEO.

 

 

As previously informed, a  working group  within the CO has been already created for the implementation of the Survey communication plan in coordination with the Committee. This working group is discussing high-level points and commitments to move forward, with clear steps, towards a partnerships  strategy, including potential webinars for key stakeholders,  the creation of a Task Force on partnerships, among others.

 

Furthermore, GlobeScan will  propose  additional engagement options such as presentations and webinars to internal audiences. They will provide us cost estimates.

 

Please let us know if you have any comments or doubts regarding these steps, the release schedule and if you wish to schedule a committee meeting next week.

Thanks Ken, Sonja and Graham for your answers. Please note that the  Final Public report to be released on May 15 will be  accompanied by an Action Plan, indicating what we will do to address the issues raised in the survey report.

 

For your information, you will find enclosed the ppt presented to the CO by GS yesterday (similar to the one used in our last meeting but with proposed indicators)
