Chandra Announcement: Cycle 27 Proposal Deadline in One Day

The CXC reminds potential proposers that the deadline for the Chandra Cycle 27 Call for Proposals (CfP) is tomorrow, Wednesday 19 March 2025 at 6PM (US Eastern Daylight Time).

This is the final reminder of the deadline and of the fact that the Chandra Peer Review is now a Distributed Peer Review.

Recall that a willing Designated Reviewer must be selected by each proposing team at the time of proposal submission. A Designated Reviewer must hold a PhD and we strongly recommend that a Designated Reviewer not be selected by more than three proposals. There is no restriction on the geographical location of a Designated Reviewer or their institution. The default option in CPS for the Designated Reviewer is the PI; this can be changed by selecting a Co-I team member in the Co-I section of your proposal.
