Chandra Announcement: CalDB version 4.9.5 Released

To Chandra CIAO 4.13 Users:

The CXC announces the public release of Chandra CalDB version 4.9.5. This upgrade

includes the following items:

* ACIS T_GAIN updates affecting recent OBS_IDs (since 2020-05-02T12:00:00)

          - This release also corrects an focal plane temperature boundary condition error in the previous T_GAIN update release

             (CalDB 4.9.3, October 2020) that could affect future very-warm observations, but is ineffectual to this point.

* ACIS CTI Correction Update effective 2020-01-01 (affects recent ACIS-S3 non-GRADED data only).

* HRC-I/LETG LSF parameter files added

Users who do not wish to download the full CalDB, but would rather access it via the web for their specific observations only, 

may use the CIAO contributed script "download_obsid_caldb". Note that the web-accessible CalDB may take a day or two 

to be upgraded to this latest CalDB release.
