COVID-19 impact and update on Chandra Cycle 22 supplemental call.

The Chandra community responded to the Cycle 22 Call with their usual enthusiasm, requesting a total of 91 Ms of time (compared to 83.5 Ms in Cycle 21). We do not see evidence for a COVID-19 impact on any geographic region.  Therefore, we will not proceed with a Cycle 22 supplemental call.

Although we do not see major repercussions from COVID-19 on our global statistics, we appreciate that certain individuals may have been severely impacted.  We ask that anyone who was unable to prepare and submit a proposal by our delayed deadline please contact the Director's Office via Helpdesk (cxc...@cfa.harvard.edu) with a short explanation of their circumstances. We will consider allowing submission of a small number of proposals later in the year, on a case-by-case basis.
