Availability of Blank Sky HRC-S Observations
The CXC would like to inform the community that two new blank sky observations have been publicly released into the Chandra archive. The field-of-view is 2’ square, with a maximum data rate of 3 cts/sec.. The observations were taken while ACIS was obtaining ECS calibration data at a cold focal plane temperature. The pointing directions were selected so as to achieve both cold ECS temperatures and ease of scheduling.
