Hey fellow CAC'ers,
Just a reminder that we are holding a working bee in the morning at the club.
NO ARCHERY will be conducted at the club while the  Working-Bee  is on.

There is HEAPS of stuff we want to get done, so please please, Pretty Please come along.
The more people who turn up, the faster and more we can get done. You don't need any skills. We have tasks for everyone. There is lots and lots of work to be done. If you've wanted to learn fletch & general arrow repair, now's your chance too!

Remember, bring:
  • Sunscreen
  • Hat
  • Daggy Old Clothes (There will be DIRT)
  • Boots
  • Gloves
  • If you got them:
    • Shovels
    • Whipper Snippers/Weed-Whackers/Line Trimmers
    • Wheelbarrows.
    • Trailers
    • Utes
    • Portable Welders (and some scrap metal to weld up the holes in the container roof)
    • Power tools (saws, drills/drivers)
We expect to see you there early tomorrow (8am).

David

🐝 Working-Bee 🐝

We have an extra large working-bee planned for this Saturday. Things we need done include:

• Welding steel onto the Workshop Container Shed to stop leaks from the roof. (Welders needed!)

• Utes & trailers to help get & move gravel & sand from Centenary Landscape Supplies to the club.

• Trips to the Tip to take away some large items (foam etc). Tip vouchers available.

• Wheelbarrows & shovels to load sand/dirt/gravel etc.

• Put gravel in the driveway & carpark to fill in ruts, and drainage places along the concrete paths.

• Raise the distance marking pavers by putting sand or bluestone under them.

• Distribute sand in the boggy/muddy areas.

• Clear out & clean up the back of the Workshop Shipping Container.

• Move rarely used items to the “McFloaty” (White) shipping container.

• General whipper-snipping/weed-whacking.

• Club Arrow, Bow, & String maintenance (Fletches. Waxing, re-serving etc)

• Put down bricks in wet/high traffic areas to reduce mud etc.

• Target Butt and Frame repair. Core replacements for very bad targets.

As usual, all participants get free drinks & snacks from the club fridge, plus a free lunch. You also get a grounds fee/Gear Hire credit to use on your next time at the club. Plus our undying thanks!
