Hello CAC Members,
On Saturday July 26th CAC will be at the Corinda State School Festival of Nations from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This festival is a unique celebration of cultural diversity with exotic food, entertainment, and cultural displays of music, dance, song, and sport.
We’ll be there with the “bouncy castle” hover range (I believe the AQ branded one). The hover range allows people to get a good taste of archery and has been a hit (ie non stop people trying it) at the community events we’ve attended in the past 6 months.
If you have some time to help, please let me know. Tasks include showing enthusiastic members of the community the very basics of shooting a bow. The bows/arrows are very safe (picture a microphone with a large foam cover where you speak into it, that’s how the arrows look). Oh, and there will be lots of collecting of arrows. Another task would be chatting with members of the community and telling them about archer and the club.
If you can spare some time, please get in touch with me.
Thanks.
