CCADB Update: QuoVadis CA Owner Consolidation to DigiCert's CCADB Account

Hi Everyone,

This is to notify you that tomorrow (Nov. 20), we'll be changing the CA Owner in the CCADB for all QuoVadis root CA certificates from "QuoVadis" (CCADB: A000043) to "DigiCert" (CCADB: A000021).

This update is something we've been meaning to do for some time. The following context may be helpful:

Corporate Relationship: QuoVadis operates under DigiCert, Inc., according to publicly available information.
Audit Reports: QuoVadis audit reports are addressed to “the management of DigiCert, Inc.” and demonstrate that DigiCert oversees QuoVadis operations.
CP/CPS Transition: In 2023-2024, the QuoVadis CPS transitioned to “DigiCert Europe”.

Effects of Update:

All remaining QuoVadis CCADB user accounts will be transitioned to DigiCert’s CA Owner account.
All open QuoVadis CCADB cases will be transferred to DigiCert.
DigiCert account users will manage all QuoVadis root CA certificates within the DigiCert CA Owner hierarchy.

Note: This administrative update in the CCADB does not imply any alteration of any underlying corporate or legal entity relationships (i.e. QuoVadis may indeed remain a distinct legal entity from DigiCert). This change only reflects CA Owner account relationships within the CCADB.
