All,

Later today, the CCADB will be updated to add a “non-audit” document type option for the disclosure of Markdown or AsciiDoc CP/CPSs.

CA Owners should not be impacted during this update and will be able to perform routine functions as expected.

The new functionality should:

+ Move the `Location of Markdown or AsciiDoc CP/CPS` field from the Root Inclusion Request Case UI and root records, and instead make it a new type of “non-audit” document selection. [1969511]

+ Add the following new columns (after the `CP/CPS Last Updated Date` column and before the `Test Website URL - Valid`column) to a new "Version 3 - All Certificate Information (root and intermediate) in CCADB (CSV)" report:

  • MD/AsciiDoc CP/CPS Same as Parent (provided by the CA Owner in the CCADB)

  • MD/AsciiDoc CP/CPS URL (provided by the CA Owner in the CCADB)

  • MD/AsciiDoc CP/CPS Last Updated Date (provided by the CA Owner in the CCADB)

The `Location of Markdown or AsciiDoc CP/CPS` field will no longer appear in the Root Inclusion Request Case UI and instead a new “non-audit” document type will be created and can be associated with root and intermediate certificate records.

There are a small number of CA Owners who currently have this field populated in the Root Inclusion Case UI and will need to take action after the release of this ER to convey this new “non-audit” document type on their certificate records. We will communicate with those CAs directly and ensure their records are updated accordingly.

After the release of this ER, all CA Owners will add/supersede this document type in the `Add/Update Root Request Case` UI for root certificate records and either through the page layout UI or through the AddUpdateIntermediateCertAPI for intermediate certificate records.

The NON-AUDIT DOCUMENTS tab user guide, Understanding AllCertificateRecordsReport.csv doc, and AddUpdateIntermediateCertAPI documentation will be updated to reflect the changes from this enhancement in more detail.

We will send another message at the completion of the update.

Thank you

-Chris, on behalf of the CCADB Steering Committee

The CCADB update to add a “non-audit” document type option for the disclosure of Markdown or AsciiDoc CP/CPSs is now complete.

This update:

+ Moved the `Location of Markdown or AsciiDoc CP/CPS` field from the Root Inclusion Request Case UI and root records, and instead made it a new type of “non-audit” document selection. [1969511]

+ Added the following new columns (after the `CP/CPS Last Updated Date` column and before the `Test Website URL - Valid` column) to a new ‘V3 All Certificate Information (root and intermediate) in CCADB (CSV)’ report:

  • MD/AsciiDoc CP/CPS Same as Parent (provided by the CA Owner in the CCADB)

  • MD/AsciiDoc CP/CPS URL (provided by the CA Owner in the CCADB)

  • MD/AsciiDoc CP/CPS Last Updated Date (provided by the CA Owner in the CCADB)

The `Location of Markdown or AsciiDoc CP/CPS` field no longer appears in the Root Inclusion Request Case UI and instead a new “non-audit” document type can be associated with root and intermediate certificate records. All CA Owners will add/supersede this document type in the `Add/Update Root Request Case` UI for root certificate records and either through the page layout UI or through the AddUpdateIntermediateCertAPI for intermediate certificate records.

The NON-AUDIT DOCUMENTS tab user guide, Understanding AllCertificateRecordsReport.csv doc, AddUpdateIntermediateCertAPI documentation, and CCADB.org fields page were updated to reflect the changes from this enhancement in more detail.

Please continue to contact CCADB Support (sup...@ccadb.org) with any questions regarding the CCADB.

Thank you
