CCADB Self-Assessment - Version 1.4 Released

The CCADB Steering Committee has updated the CCADB Self-Assessment to Version 1.4. Additionally, CCADB.org has been updated to include version history for the CCADB Self-Assessment.

This version of the Self-Assessment includes updates for:

• Instructions for the Cover Sheet referencing the different versions and timing of applicability of the NCSSRs

• The TLS BRs advancing from version 2.0.2 to 2.0.6

• The TLS EVGs advancing from version 1.8.0 to 2.0.1

• Adding a new sheet for the NCSSRs version 2.0 as version 1.7.0 may also still be applicable

Hi Chris,

Thank you for the update! As I go through this, it appears that the rows for Section 4.9.7 (CRL Issuance Frequency) of the TLS BRs sheet have not been updated to reflect the new text that was introduced in v2.0.1 / Ballot SC-063v4. Is that intentional?

Hi Aaron, 

We appreciate your attention to detail! This was not intentional and appears to have persisted since v1.3 of the CCADB Self-Assessment. We’ll host an incremented version that corrects this omission shortly and send a separate email announcing the publication. 

We’re also exploring creating an automated process for generating the CCADB Self-Assessment to reduce the opportunity for this sort of issue in the future.

Awesome, thank you! I believe there are a few other sections that also did not receive updates from SC-063v4, such as Section 7.2.2. I look forward to having an automated system to extract these requirements!
