CCADB Policy Version 1.3.1 Upcoming Release Notification

All,

The CCADB Policy [1] will be updated to Version 1.3.1 and is intended to be published on October 29, 2024. This update will be effective immediately and includes two primary changes:

1. Adopts RFC 2119 [2] notation. 

2. Adds language for “CP Same as Parent” and “CPS Same as Parent” fields for Intermediate Certificate records, whereas previously only the “CP/CPS Same as Parent” field existed.

This update also includes other non-material changes, such as relocating acronyms and converting smart quotes. The exact edits can be viewed here [3].
