On May 11, 2023, the CCADB will be updated to introduce a new “Add/Update Contacts” Case type. CA Owners should not be impacted during this update and can perform routine functions as expected.
In the “Add/Update Contacts” Case type, we are automating background processes that will allow CA Owners to add new or update existing contacts for their organization directly in the CCADB. A CA Owner creates and submits this type of Case in the same manner as the other Case types.
This new Case type should:
+ Enable CA Owners to clearly indicate contact changes directly in the CCADB.
+ Automate the actual changes to the contact data.
+ Automate Salesforce license issuance or revocation.
