Otter's Welcome - Reminder to Donate

Good people of the Barony!

As the days count down to Otter's Welcome on June 6th, we'd like to remind everyone of a couple things!

• Pre-Registration closes tomorrow, 5/31. While pre-registration isn't required, it will save you time at gate.

• Note that this is a donation-only event at a relatively expensive site. Please make a donation if you can. You can do so by PayPal on the preregistration pre-registration site, or in person at the event. We appreciate the support to keep this event free for newcomers.

• Due to town rules, we cannot serve food at the event, but you are encouraged to bring your own picnic lunch. Note that the bar will be open from 11am onward. Personal alcohol and soft drinks are not permitted by site rules, and must be purchased from their bar.

• Carolingian A&S Champions will also be selected at the event. If you have an A&S project you're proud of, bring it and enter! There is no specific theme, and thorough documentation will not be a requirement to enter. Bring what you like!

• Carolingian Armored Champions will be selected at the event. Everyone is encouraged to enter and display your skills for the Barony. Even if you are a relatively new fighter, come out and compete. It will be a good learning experience, and there will be other fighting going on throughout the day!
