Reminder: June Council is Monday June 1 & Baronial Polling Next Steps

Greetings, Barony!

Next steps from Kingdom about the polling should be in my inbox soon. While we wait, we need to decide whether we want an online or via post polling. We have 195 members, 29 of which have provided their emails via this form. I had originally intended to go digital, but this makes me think that a post polling may yield better results. I would like for the Barony to decide. For the online polling, we would need to gather as many email addresses via that provided form as possible to reach the 50% response rate required. For the post polling, Kingdom provides the addresses of all members to me, no gathering of information. You can respond with a simple "post" or "online" to this email or provide your opinions and thoughts, and we will have time for discussion and a final vote at June Council.

Also at June Council (that's Monday, June 1) the candidates for Baron and/or Baroness will be announced. If you are interested in being a candidate or know someone you would like to nominate (with their consent), please email myself and Their Excellencies with a brief letter of intent no later than Sunday May 31. There will be time for the candidates to speak if they like in June Council.

In July Council on Monday, July 6, I wish to reserve time in the agenda for formal statements from the candidate(s) with a question and answer period.

It is my hope that the polling will follow shortly thereafter.
