If you curious about the process for how the Santa Fe Public Schools makes determinations about weather, closures, etc., please view this page. Updates and information also on the district site.    School Transfers     Remember, February 14 is the deadline for entry into the 2020-2021 school transfer lottery. The online form is HERE - scroll down to "Click for English" or "Click for Spanish" to find the actual transfer request form.       SFPS Innovation Expo  The SFPS Innovation Expo: Full STEAM Ahead is February 13 from 5pm-7:30 at the convention center.   Music Events 6th grade musical is March 5th 1:30 and 6:00 Band/choir concert is May 12th 1:30 and 6:00  T  More from the PTK PTK Meeting 2/26 Our next PTK meeting is 26 February @ 8AM in the teachers' lounge.     Have Fun, Help Hailey Benefit dinner and dance on February 22. Info -->           Blackhawk Clubs and Teams   Carlos Gilbert Student Council FriendshipGrams   As a friendly fundraiser, the student council is selling FriendshipGrams! For $1.00 each, students can send a message and fun gift to a friend, classmate or anyone whose day they want to brighten with a token of friendship.   When? During lunch February 4th to 12th Where? Outside the cafeteria   What? A large rice krispie treat and Valentine's Day pencil with a special message. $1.00!       Chess Club Meeting this Friday from 12:30-2pm. We'll have an online tournament!    Join the CGE Swim Team! Kindergarten through 6th graders are encouraged to try out for the Carlos Gilbert Swim Team. If your child loves to swim and would like to be a part of the team, the commitment is practice on Mondays 5:10pm-6:10pm,  starting February 24th for 8 weeks at the Fort Marcy Pool.  The cost is only $20 which covers the swim meet fees and includes an awesome swim team t-shirt and post-swim meet pizza party.   All swim team members will compete in the dynamic district-wide small school swim meet held Saturday, April 18th at the GCCC.
