Dear Carlos Gilbert Families-
We would first like to express how much we miss our students and how excited we are to start connecting with you on a regular basis.
The CGE team has been hard at work learning how to adapt and move forward with virtual learning. This week has been full of online training around how to move into this next phase, which will begin on Monday, March 30th and continue until we are able to once again meet in person. We are still in the planning and learning phase of how this will go, but we assure you that we will all work together to do our best to get through this unprecedented time.
It is important to understand that the amount of time students will be expected to do online learning will not be equivalent to a normal school day. More information about recommended screen time per grade level will be forthcoming. The CGE team wants it to be direct and manageable so as to not overwhelm anyone anymore than we already are with this situation.
More information and further details are coming and we promise to keep our families informed as soon as we are able. Please contact your classroom teacher or reach out to one of our other CGE team members if you have any specific questions or concerns.
