Hey folks,

Because it has been a few weeks since b4, I wanted to post a quick status update here. Since the b4 drop (apart from having my wedding anniversary and my son's birthday!) I have primarily been focused on getting all of my products ready for Unity 5.2.0. While all of my other products are already live and ready to go, there are, to my knowledge, at least two bugs that will be present in the final release of 5.2.0, which interfere with Ragdoll Workshop.
  1. StateMachineBehaviours will not invoke any of their events on disabled Animators, even when the Animator is being updated from another script. This means that RagdollAnimator components will not actually work right now.
  2. An IL2CPP bug introduced in Unity 5.1.2 prevents compilation to IL2CPP platforms. This has already been fixed in a patch release for 5.1.2 and in the recently released 5.1.3.
I have been told that both of these bugs should be fixed in a patch release available the day 5.2.0 final goes live (which may be as soon as today). That said, I never officially condone the use of patch releases, so depending how cautious you are feeling, you may wait until 5.2.1 if either of these issues will affect your product. At the same time, the persistence of these two bugs has made it difficult to test other aspects of the product, so it is possible—though unlikely—there are other problems of which I am not aware. As such, I expect I will be testing further against the patch release, and welcome any assistance from you in doing so, too! If you are interested in doing so, and I have not yet distributed 3.0.0b5, just send me an email and I can get you a snapshot of my current branch that addresses a couple of 5.2.0 compatibility issues in my library code.

Ah sorry one minor addendum: 5.1.3 still has some IL2CPP problems
