Quads not lining up correctly

Hi,

I am using 512x512 transparent png images for my quads with the image centred within.  

When I have 4 lines of text, each starting with a quad I find the ones with more transparency on the left are justified nearer to the left margin of my text area. This makes for a misalignment as you view down the rows of text.

How can I rectify this as I see there is only a Y offset available to adjust?
