A few of my cameras are detecting objects in areas of the camera view that are restricted from same. How do I correct this?

Here are the screenshots:

I add an Alert rating with all objects, no area defined, thumb down to the end of the list.

I want to detect in the unrestricted areas of the cameras view.

This is likely because the vehicle was partially out of the negative zone for a while.
Try to make the negative area bigger to see whether it helps.
On V2 UI, you can enable grid and detection areas on the live view to see whether the vehicle is out of the area.

Feel free to share such a video with us if you cannot figure out how to adjust the area. We'll give suggestions after reviewing the video.

Please see the attachments. The .gif file shows the vehicle triggering an alert. The .png file shows the detection grid where the car was clearly in a restricted portion.

Please share one of such video with us. Briefly describe the problem. Watch this video if you have not done that before.
We'll give suggestions.

I did share examples. TWICE!

Where is your guide on setting up Alert Ratings > Edit Area? For both V1 and V2?

I don't see any video clip submissions associated with the email address that you use on the forum. I'm assuming that your hub is registered to a different email.

Please use "Report Bug" from the hub settings of your hub and identify yourself in the bug report so I can check for video submissions received from it.

As far as setting up alert ratings, there is a detailed example based on the V1 UI in the "Learning More about Camect" guide that is linked from camect.com/welcome. We haven't updated it for V2 yet.  V2 is covered in our howto videos here. In particular this video may be of interest but it does not cover a complex example like the guide does.

I included the Motion .gif files from the camect email notifications.

Yes, the hub is registered to my protonmail address.

I will check the links. Thank you.
