API to access audio alerts

I have recently begun using audio alerts with some of my cameras that have the capability to receive and play audio through the camera itself (specifically be using the reolink RCL-811a). This is working very well for me but would like some additional functionality to call this from Home Assistant Node Red flows. I have the Camect integration for Home Assistant already and about the only API call that is included in it is to enable or disable alerts. I have looked at the API that is documented and that's about the only thing revealed there also. Has anyone worked on this capability and/or are there any undocumented APIs that would allow for this functionality?

What kind of integration do you have in mind?

Let HA play audio through the hub?
