Hikvision privacy zones

Hi, I've just transferred 4 Hikvision cameras from my previous Hikvision DS-7616NI-SE/P.  One of the cameras had privacy zones and these still show on Camect.  Is there any way to modify/delete these zones through Camect, or do I need to plug it back into the Hikvision box to modify?

Sorry, no -- Camect offers no way to directly modify those privacy zones. 

However, you probably don't need to plug your cameras back into your old NVR either. You should be able to access any camera's web interface directly using a browser and change the settings from there. 

If you don't know the IP addresses of your cameras, you can click on the camera settings (wrench in the camera title bar) and then click on the "i" next to "Camera Name" to get some details, including the ip address of the camera.  

The possible problem with this approach would be that some Hikvision functions don't work unless you use a specific browser or have specific weird plugins installed. Try and see if it will work for you.

Thanks, I forgot about modifying it directly (been a while since I set them up), one of our computers still has the plug-in that works!
