I make use of the facility whereby the presence detection of a phone can be used to switch Normal mode on or off. The current issue I'm facing is that I have multiple VLANs/subnets. The Camect unit is one of them, but my phone is sometimes on that same subnet, and sometimes on another. Firewall rules would allow the Camect unit to reach (ping?) the phone even when on one of the other subnets.

However, when configuring phones, Camect will only offer a search box, rather than a box where one can simply enter an IP or MAC address. The search box will only show devices detected on the same VLAN as where Camect is.

The net effect of all this is that if I am the only one home and I switch my phone to the IOT subnet (sometimes necessary), Camect thinks I am away. I am not able to enter the phone's IP address there, as another device must be present to leave "at home" mode.

Are you willing to allow arp requests and responses to cross between the IOT vlan and the main vlan? If you do, and if you have the full network scan enabled, your hub will probably be able to find your phone even when it is on the IOT vlan.

I can limit those to only pass if originating from Camect. Where do I enable the full network scan?

Camect needs to be able to see all arps and responses on the other vlan to be able to discover the existence of IPs on the other vlan. You'll need to enable it to be able to see all of those, plus enable it to be able to ping and arp to the other vlan.

The full network scan is enabled from hub settings > show advanced settings. (It's on by default ... I just wasn't sure if you might have switched it off.)

My hub settings have nothing by that name:

Even so, I do not believe I changed anything of the sort. Reminder: I am using one of your high performance hubs.
