Just some quick feedback, I've connected two of my Ubiquiti UniFi Protect cameras (using the virtual RTSP streams from the NVR sever) and they are working fine.
Much more stable and reliable than the Wyzecams I use for simple testing.
The Alerts from Camect combined with the mobile app/web app from UniFi for viewing and reviewing footage makes a powerful (but obviously more expensive and more complex) setup.
