Any idea what the DC range the Camect hub hardware is spec'd for?
It's absurd, but I'm installing my hub and cameras in a camper. This camper (like basically all of them) has both an AC and DC power bus, so you can operate things like gas appliances and the lights on a 12v car battery while not on shore power. While connected to shore power, the AC system powers a battery charger to keep the battery topped off. While the charger is on, the 12v bus actually measures around 13.2v (lead acid battery chemistry is fun). This means I effectively have a built-in battery back up if I can connect devices directly to the 12v system. I'd rather directly connect the unit if possible, rather than have the efficiency losses and reliability of an inverter to worry about. But, of course, I'd much rather not kill the hardware.
Thanks,
Kolton
