operation mode not saving settings

You have the option of home or normal for operating modes. 

I have all camera's setup to be alerted when in normal mode, but I do not want to be alerted for my garage camera when i'm working in there. So I have this added to the home mode disable alerts for the camera. 

When I do this, it works as expected but it also adds the camera to the normal mode, meaning if I switch back to normal, I do not get alerts for activity from this camera. 

and vice versa. 

This is very annoying as they should be separate settings.  

snoozing works, but the mode settings should be independant and not tied to each other.

Turning off a camera in home mode should not cause alerts to also be turned off in normal mode. Since you've submitted a bug report from your hub, we'll respond to it once one someone has looked into what is going on.

Hi Steven,

There is no way to customize normal operation mode.

I think the problem you described is caused by detection on the camera is disabled.

Please got to the hub settings dialog > alerts table to enable it.

it never used to be this way. 

If I disabled alerts while I was in home mode, those camera's would not trigger an alert, but would when I moved back to normal mode. 

currently unless I add all of my camera's to home mode, I continue getting alerts. 


regardless of these settings, I need to add the garage_inside camera to the home mode in order to not get alerted every 5 seconds, but then if I move it back to normal mode, I do not receive alerts as I would like it to. 

So I want to be able to add camera's to home mode so that I do not get alerts. 

Then when I go back to normal mode, it should send alerts for the given cameras

Can you add "garage_inside" into home mode, reproduce the no alert issue in default mode and share the event video with us?

Please don't change any settings after that to give us some time to take a look at it.

I am pretty sure it's caused by some setting issues.
