My iOS devices receive alerts via the Camect Viewer app. The response time for an alert is 20 seconds at best after an event, but more often longer.

I assume iOS notifications are triggered by the hub, which has a co-processor and SSD storage. All my cameras are POE.

If you have a similar setup, what is your response time?

I am probably in the 20-30 second timeframe. It feels long to me.

Please share an alert or two (the same way you report incorrect detections) and mention that they took 20+ seconds to arrive so we can see where the delay came from.

I can check incorrect detection - but, I don’t see where I can add narrative.  I could just mark two of them and let you know here how long they took along with the timestamp.

After you check incorrect detection and say you'd like to share with Camect, you have the opportunity to include some text before sharing. You can also share an alert after the fact by finding it in the UI and sharing. See 1:30 onwards of this video

Earlier I sent two examples.

Just some thoughts.  Maybe I’m the only one that would like to be informed  about a detection in “real time.”  I get iOS notices on my watch and iPhone with a brief clip.  If it would make it faster, I would be happy with the notice I can click on and open in the Camect Viewer app.  Most of these notices arrive 25+ seconds after the event started.  Even 10 seconds would be acceptable.

Thanks - Rob

We received the two videos. We will reply to them later. Expect some delay due to weekends.
Normally, the delay is several seconds.

I'm now getting much quicker responses.

This note applies to iOS 18.1.  I turned of "Apple Intelligence: and it appears that solved the problem.  Hopefully this will be resolved in 18.2.
