Success: Amcrest Floodlight camera ASH26

Was able to add our Amcrest floodlight camera to Camect using the same URL as our Amcrest doorbell

Thanks for sharing this.  Are you happy with the quality of the video from the camera and with the quality of its performance as a floodlight? If so, this would be the first floodlight camera that also has an RTSP feed for which we've received a good recommendation. 

Also, since you had to mention the rtsp url -- does that mean we failed to detect it automatically? Or was it detected but failed to connect after that? (We did add support earlier to get at least some Amcrest SmartHome models to come up automatically.)

hi Arup,

Video is clear and comparable to my other 1080p cameras. Floodlight is bright for our Deck and provides better coverage than the older 100W eq LED bulb i had outside. Could be because i'm able to adjust the lights for better coverage

Had to add the camera manually as my IoT WiFi is a separate VLAN and scan will not work.
