I have had all my cameras connected before.

For various reasons I have reset (several times) the camect home and started from scratch,  I can get as far as selecting Wyze to add a camera and it asks for my email and password to Wyze to connect to the cameras.

No matter what I enter in the email/password fields it tells me "Failed to sign in. Please make sure username and password are correct."  I have tried resetting and changing my Wyze password.  I have created a second WYze account and shared my cameras with it, but get the same message when trying to log into that one as well.

What's going on?  Why won't camect recognize my valid email and password to link my Wyze cams?

You've probably covered some of this by resetting and trying again, but please follow the Wyze reset steps below exactly, and if it still doesn't work, you'll be submitting a bug report in the last step so we can get some more info about what's going on:

1. Disable the Wyze sign in box and camera boxes for any Wyze cams you see in the Camect UI by using the slider at the top left of each one.

  2. Restart your Camect device .... i.e. home settings (cog wheel at top) > show advanced settings > restart

3. Sign out and back into the Wyze app to make sure your username and password are still valid. Make sure you are using the same sign in credentials that you are using with Camect.

4. Go to hub settings > device > add camera. Set the type to "Wyze" and click "Add". Sign into your Wyze Cameras.

If it still fails to sign in, please open the hub settings  and use "Report Bug". Check the checkbox to include logs and settings from your device so we can get a little information about what happened.
