Tried to login to the Foscam UI to enable rtsp, but unable to login using my MacBook. Tried the Camera finder from Foscam, able to see/ edit settings but unable to enable RTSP (timeout every time) I tried to save.
Anyone encounter these issue?

This is an old complain for Foscam, and I found this interesting bit on their site tonight. They have been merged into Amcrest now.
"If you are interested in exchanging your Foscam camera for an Amcrest camera, we can offer you a massive loyalty discount, even if you are out of warranty.

I would be curious about how big a discount "massive" turns out to be.

Just a bit of history as I understand it ... It's not that Foscam was merged into Amcrest per se.
Amcrest is the company that used to be Foscam USA. They had a falling out with Foscam China for some reason, and decided to start their own brand instead. So, they stopped selling cameras from Foscam, created the Amcrest brand, and switched to selling cameras made by Dahua that have been customized for Amcrest -- and these cameras are far better than the original Foscam cameras.
Foscam-branded cameras that you buy today are from Foscam China, and aren't a whole lot better than they ever have been.
