But I can access it at home.camect.com and at the ip address directly at 192.168.x.xx
I need the connection to the local.home.camect.com for a hubitat connecttion. I am on a eero mesh system and my camect is wired to my gateway eero. The computer(s) that I am trying to access from are connected to the eero mesh as well. Any ideas on how to connect to local.home.camect.com? TIA

I had a similar issue (I don't remember the specific error, so it may not be the same as what you're seeing), and I think it's related to blocking DNS Rebinding attacks. This was mentioned in another forum post recently. I was using my router's default settings for the DNS server, so I switched it to use Open DNS (free account) and this resolved the issue for me.

Right .. the issue is that you have a setting somewhere in your dns server's configuration that prevents an external name server from returning an address that's internal to your network.
Some dns servers (or routers, if your router is your dns server) call this feature "rebind protection". You'll need to either disable it, or, if possible, make an exception for addresses in l.home.camect.com.
