This morning I noticed my Camect was not operating. The unit had power but I could not connect with smart phone or PC. I switched the unit off and left it for about 15 minutes and then switched it back on with a monitor connected. I saw the Camect "splash" screen and after that cleared I had a message as follows:
Reboot and Select proper Boot device
or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key
Pressing a key just causes that message to be redisplayed.
I am wondering is this means the system drive has failed. I replaced the data drive (in 2023, I think) but the system drive is the original and has been running 7x24 since I received the unit (March of 2020, I believe). I was one of the Idiegogo early adopters. It's been running darn near perfectly ever since.
Do you have suggestions for further troubleshooting?
If the drive has (finally) failed, do you have a procedure for replacing it? I could get a drive and install it but if my drive is toast I have no way to image it with the system.
Please advise!
Thank you very much!
