I had an integration in my home assistant for well over a year. An automation watched for camect events and switched on lights etc. It stopped working. I have not changed the integration, or the automation in months.

I don't know exactly when it stopped working, but on investigation I found that HA cannot succesfully establish the connection/login with Camect anymore. It takes a long time but then times out. Camect itself seems to be operating fine, including the mobile app.

Has something changed that may have caused this? On my end I am running HA 2026.2.

OK, this problem is solved. It turned out that HA messed up my installation. Now idea how that happened as it was running, without modifications, for about a year. The only thing I can think of is that a HA upgrade had this side effect. I ended up having to completely uninstall the integration (loosing all historical data and configuration) and then re-install and reconfigure.
